· Or, you may wish to collect more information to make your on-boarding more valid.
· You may consider liaising with the family and requesting copies of any specialist documents they may have for you to upload.
· Likewise, you may contact the CYP’s previous setting and audit what documents are available.
· SENDiT will provide the tool to collaborate and record all known facts, and then make the decisions for your next steps.
· You or the teachers may be using the ‘comment’ route to on-board within the areas of need tool.
· However, we recommend you consider if documents do actually exist which will inform the plan. These could include for example Class Teacher assessments, notes from parent/teacher meetings, or departmental meeting notes which discussed concerns and evidenced next steps
